June 2022 was Pride Month, celebrating 50 years of Pride in the UK. This year Pride acknowledged the achievements of the LBGTQ+ community during the past 50 years as well as looking forward to the next 50 years. There were lots of special events that took place across London and the UK throughout the month.

Foster Care Fortnight 2022

Foster Care Fortnight, the annual campaign organised by The Fostering Network took place 9-22 May 2022. This year the theme was #fosteringcommunities to shine a light on the many ways people across the fostering community support each other. It was also to increase awareness of fostering and to encourage more people to become foster carers.

LGBT+ Adoption and Fostering Week 2022

7-13 March 2022 was LGBT+ Adoption and Fostering Week. The annual event is organised by New Family Social, a UK charity, led by LGBT+ adopters and foster carers.
